$R8L26TZPreliminary details relating to ‘The 35th Brian Wilson/Beach Boys Stomp Convention to be held on Saturday 27th September 2014

Change of Date;-   The above is not the date which was given out at this years event and in fact for just about a week it was set to be the first Saturday in October.    However, it is now confirmed as being the 27th September 2014!

Special Guest;-   We are delighted to announce the ‘Special Guest’ for the 35th event is Mrs. Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford and her quite charming husband, Mr. Daniel Rutherford.    Well, he would be charming, he is a Canadian!!

Tickets;-   These are in the process of being finalised at this very time and should be between £20/£25 per person.    Until the 31st March 2014 they may only be applied for by persons who can prove they have previously attended a ‘Beach Boys Stomp’ Convention.    Should tickets still be available after the above date they will be open to all.    It is worth noting at this time the 2005 event when Mrs. Wilson-Rutherford was previously with us was the best attended event for some years and those present numbered well over two hundred.    With the passage of time and the ‘Health and Safety’ brigade the maximum capacity for the hall is now set at two hundred.     Should you wish to reserve a ticket/s for the event you may do so by writing to the normal postal address;-

‘Beach Boys Stomp’,  23, The Woolmead,  East Street,  Farnham,  Surrey,  GU9 7TT.    Should the web-site not be your normal point of communication, please provide an S.S.A.E., or should you require confirmation of your application then please do likewise.

Badges;-   Also are being processed at this time with the art-work delivered to the printer last week and with final colour details to be requested later this week.    The final quantity for these is not yet known but it could be 150?

Also at this time we are considering whether to add another attraction in the form of film or live music?   With perhaps film being given the priority at this very moment, however whatever may or may not turn up there will be a copyright scroll running through all the footage we seek.    Should this be requested by any of the providers.

Further details later this month when both tickets and badges are available for dispatch…
